Puppy Curriculum
Life Skills
4-8 weeks

Mobility & Senses: They start walking more securely, exploring their environment, and their eyesight/hearing are fully functional. Increased Mobility: Puppies become much more active, exploring surroundings and playing, which may include growling and tail-wagging.
Teeth Appearing: Baby teeth begin to emerge. Solid Food: Puppies begin weaning, transitioning to "puppy mush" (blended food and formula). Then fully transitioned to solid kibble.

Mom dog is key and does a lot of teaching at this phase.

Key milestones include starting solid food, active play-fighting, and enhanced mobility. This critical phase involves learning bite inhibition, crucial socialization, we include a number of techniques to help mom during this time

Potty training/litter box - They start to move away from their sleeping area to relieve themselves.
